The New Genesis Compact Solar PV Mag-Drive System

The New Genesis Compact Solar PV Mag-Drive system is custom designed to fit your power usage needs. You remain tied to the energy grid, while you produce enough of your own energy to basically avoid ever needing to use utility-supplied power again. Your “grid-tied” system will feature transfer switching components to allow you to utilize 12, 24 or 48VDC charge components with AC inverters appropriate to support the declared output value. Enjoy producing your own utility-free power, while remaining safely connected to the power grid to support and back-up your system’s output.

  • Standard power supply designed to accommodate 8-hour full capacity off take

  • Needed recharge time can be accommodated based on the Mag-Drives charging circuit output required to maintain the system’s typical or “normal” use cycle.

  • The system has an automatic output AC interruption alarm to detect the low voltage threshold at 11VDC which switches the system from power output to the full-time charging cycle until the low voltage condition is corrected and ready to supply power during the pre-programmed designated time frame.

  • A maximum threshold of 45% discharge of battery storage has been set in order to minimize charge requirements and extend battery life on all deep cycle batteries used.

System configuration/placement assumptions

  • Rolls Surrette Batteries or their industry equivalents are used unless customer specifies a battery that meets the established battery specifications.

  • Standard cabling from the Charge Unit to the Battery Banks.

  • Battery Bank(s) TBD by the customer’s off take requirements.

  • Systems include outdoor/weatherproof enclosures upon customer’s specific needs.

  • Appropriately sized Solar Photovoltaic cells.

  • 10-year system warranty for parts and labor.

  • 10-year system life cycle.

  • Average input requirement in terms of watts is ~4-6% of the charge circuit output hourly.

The Compact Solar PV Mag-Drive System provides a practical source of AC power for an end user without any combustible fuels or other traditional energy input provisions. Storing energy for later use has become the focus of many in private industry as well as the Federal Government. Making use of rare earth magnets with the assistance of a minority input voltage and current to maintain rotation of a specifically sized flywheel (configured in a proprietary fashion) which drives a standard alternator, wind generator or dynamo in any number of DC formats. The present patent pending system design supports a 12, 24 or 48VDC charge cycle and inverter which provides 120, 240 or 480VAC out.
